About

SEED stands for Sonographer Educator in ED

The SEED program is a unique opportunity for Emergency Department Clinicians to continue and progress their learning in Point of Care Ultrasound use by having a accredited General Sonographer supervising and instructing them on scan technique in their clinical environment.

Through novel funding initatives we have a General Sonographer in the Emergency Department available to educate, guide and supervisor all of our practicing clinicians: Staff Specialist, registrar, RMOs, nursing staff and TAs.  The SEED will also become an integral part of the other programs and workshops that currently run with the HUMMER program

If you would like to arrange a specific time and/or subject to learn, please contact our HUMMER SEED supervisor, Sam Vidler (sam.vidler@hnehealth.nsw.gov.au) or Sonographer Educator, Mark Goddard (kadmow@gmail.com)
